1/21/18 - Traveler is healed up and ready to go! He lost a leg, part of a foot, and part of is tail but his spirit is not broken. He's great with other dogs, no sign of food aggression. He's fine around baby Ivy. Not good with cats.

9/18: I got an emergency call about a dog hit by a train tonight. It's a male Treeing Walker Coonhound. I called doc and met him at the vet. One leg was almost completely severed, unable to be saved. The other leg, doc is working on that right now trying to save it.  Tail also severed. Dog is in shock. Donations urgently needed! For donation Information,

Update: Doc completed the amputation on the severed leg. The foot of the other leg is also going to need amputation, which means Traveler will need a prosthetic foot. We don't know the cost for that yet, but they are custom made for each dog so we know it's going to be expensive. I'm thinking somewhere around $1,000 but that's just a guess. Donations needed!

ADOPTION INFORMATION:




We adopt to MD, PA, DE, NJ, NY, CT, RI, NH, VT, or ME with transport capabilities. 



Adoption fee $250 (includes spay/neuter, 4DX test, fecal, rabies vaccine, distemper combo vaccine, wormer, and flea/tick preventative). There is an additional transport fee of $50 for adopters who live further than 100 miles from Lenore, WV.
